In partnership with Mountain Speech Language Services we are excited to offer "Happy Talk Song & Sign".

This program is a joyful, highly engaging early language program designed for infants and toddlers . The program blends music, movement, sensory play, early communication strategies, and baby sign language. It is grounded in well-established developmental research and is designed as both a preventative and early language intervention model, supporting children while coaching caregivers in a natural, accessible way.

Children are supported to improve their use of gestures, imitation, joint attention and early social routines. Caregivers will learn practical strategies to support language development.

This group is for caregivers and their children.

Ride the Wave: Emotion Regulation Skills for Teens (DBT Informed Group)

Ages 14-17 years (Grade 9 and above)

This group helps teens with Autism better understand and manage their emotions. Using Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills, participants will learn how emotions work, why they feel so intense at times, and how to respond in ways that are helpful rather than overwhelming or reactive.

Through hands-on activities, discussion, and real-life examples, teens will practice skills to identify and label emotions, reduce emotional vulnerability, and shift intense feelings before they escalate. Strategies may include building positive experiences, increasing emotional awareness, and using tools to change or regulate emotions in the moment.

The goal is to help youth feel more in control of their emotional responses, improve confidence in handling challenging situations, and build a stronger sense of stability in their day-to-day lives.

Is your teen heading to Grade 9 in September? This in-person group will help your teen feel prepared and confident for the exciting – and sometimes overwhelming – transition to high school.

Learn how to use a combination lock and master organization skills. Learn how to manage schedules, assignments, take notes, and organize lockers and backpacks like a pro!

Develop positive behaviours by understanding what’s expected at high school and learn strategies to succeed.

Transition to Adulthood helps teens build the everyday skills they need as they move toward more independence.

Through guided practice and real-life scenarios, teens learn skills like managing routines, handling money, navigating the community, and speaking up for their needs.

Transition to Kindergarten helps children build the skills they need to feel confident and successful in a classroom setting.

Through structured, classroom-like activities, children practice following instructions, asking for help, sharing with peers, and participating in group routines.

With guided practice and support, this group helps children become more independent, comfortable, and ready for the expectations of a school environment.

Animal Adventurers is a fun, play-based group where young children build early social and communication skills through imaginative, animal-themed activities.

Using games, movement, and pretend play, children practice important skills like requesting, waiting, following directions, and playing alongside peers.

With modeling, support, and predictable routines, this group helps children stay engaged, connect with others, and feel successful while learning through play.
