Transition to High School
In-Person Clinical Group | Ages 13-14 years

Is your youth transitioning into Grade 9 in September? This in-person group will use Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) strategies to target specific skills to increase the youth’s overall comfort and confidence entering high school. Youth will participate in a mix of lessons, interactive discussions and activities. Concepts covered include organization and time management skills, expected and unexpected behaviours, social skills and navigating the school environment.

This group will explore topics such as setting SMART goals and organization skills. Participants will be encouraged to practice new skills during this in-person group and continue practicing at home with caregiver support.
