Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) teaches strategies for increasing psychological flexibility and living in the present moment. Mindfulness is a strategy taught as part of ACT that helps individuals stay grounded and focused in the present moment. Youth will practice mindfulness activities while learning about the benefits regular mindfulness has for their wellness.
