Building Blocks

For children born in 2020 and 2021

Building Blocks is a group for preschool children and their caregivers. Children will participate in developmentally appropriate activities like a circle time, craft, snacks, and structured play activities with peers. Caregivers will participate in a weekly workshop with a Behaviour Therapist and Registered Early Childhood Educator on topics like Using Visual Supports, Positive Behaviour Supports, Play Skills, and Communication. Caregivers will then join their child in the group for a closing activity to practice the skills and strategies that are being used in the group with their child.

This group requires that both a caregiver and child attend every group.
