Healthy Boundaries for Thriving Caregivers

A workshop for caregivers of people with intellectual developmental disabilities. (IDD)

Brought to you by the caregiver collaboration between Bethesda's Children and Youth and Adult Clinical Services, a Community Cultivating Initiative.

Healthy boundaries are essential for caregivers because they are a way to protect your mental and physical health. Healthy boundaries help protect caregivers from resentment, from losing their personal identity, and from caregiver burnout. This allows caregivers to provide care in a more sustainable way.

  • Have you been feeling overwhelmed?
  • Do you find it hard to say “no”?
  • Could you be spreading yourself too thin?

If you answered "Yes", you are not alone and this workshop is for you!

Learn how to set and reinforce boundaries. Learn how to recharge instead of deplete your battery. Learn, laugh, and leave feeling more confident.
