Beyond Awareness: Experiential Learning for Inclusive Support

Hosted in Partnership by Niagara College’s Educational Assistance & Adult Supports, and Autism and Behavioural Sciences Programs and Bethesda.

Join us for a day of immersive, experiential learning designed to transform the way we understand and deliver care.

Participants will engage in hands-on activities and perspective-taking experiences that deepen empathy and understanding across diverse areas of human services — including bariatric and geriatric care, dementia, autism and mental health, and staff wellness.

This interactive conference invites attendees to see through the eyes of those we support, fostering compassion, insight, and collaboration. Through experiential sessions, participants will gain practical tools and renewed inspiration to enhance person-centered, trauma-informed, and inclusive practices within their own organizations.

**Comfortable attire is encouraged. As the day will include interactive and experiential activities, we recommend dressing in clothing and footwear that allows you to move comfortably and participate fully.
