This Clinic offers a supportive environment to help children feel more comfortable with the sights, sounds, and sensations of a haircut. Held at the Niagara College Teaching Hair Salon, the clinic is led by students in the Hairstylist Apprenticeship Program. The primary goal is on positive exposure and comfort rather than a finished style. For many children a successful visit may involve partial cutting or simply getting familiar with the process.
This clinic is geared for those ages 5 and over.
