Coffee Chats are a parent support group in which parents/grandparents/guardians come together to learn, grow and find connections. This group is led by our service coordinator Tonya White and Lianne Wyatt our caregiver engagement lead and runs throughout the year to offer emotional support to families.
It is an opportunity for families to meet and make meaningful connections with other families, including those who are just starting their journey in receiving a diagnosis. Families share and gain practical advice and insights from one another in a safe, non-judgmental space.
*Please note, there is no childcare available.
A group that helps facilitate conversations that male caregivers would like to have in a supportive yet light-hearted and free-form environment. Discussions are caregiver led and are facilitated by a behaviour therapist and psychotherapist. The group provides an opportunity to share and learn from each other’s collective experiences that are relevant to male caregivers. This group meets once a month and doughnuts will be provided.
You’re invited share your ideas and experiences to help us improve the programs and services we offer to families. Your voice matters and we’re listening. Come out, enjoy dinner and create a positive change.
